calvin b wrote:There is no lawsuit or breach of contract so far. Question is why is he selling the paperclip and not the ISK? The ISK is being given away for free, so there is no litigation here. I study law as a side hobby and I can tell you he has them by the balls with that one simple fact, free. As long as there is no monetary gain from the ISK sale and only from the paperclip sale you cant be sued, but CCP does reserve the right to cancel his account. Once they do that he can argue they breached contract since he did pay monetary for the EVE account. I am not a lawyer and know nothing on international courts, but in American courts he can probably win with certain laws that pertain to countries. Look at Argentina proof you can sue a country and bankrupt it. You missed a VERY important fact. People ARE paying cash for isk. He created the problem, he is responsible. On the other hand, CCP opened the window with transferring isk in the first place. This is why we cant have player trading................ All his listings will be down soon. Digital items are not permitted to be sold on EBAY. Have to use classifieds. He has enough violations that his ebay account may get banned. |

It's like how people said "guides" for eve and those guides come with 50 million sp toons. Yet, TOONS are not transferable/legally. You dont think CCP notices IP address changes? |
