Right - - an unscannable suit with almost a minute of near invisibility, a gun that can one-hit kill every non-Heavy suit in the game (a gun moreover designed to destroy shields) is on equal footing with a suit that it sees at all times and is running 200 shield, 80 armor, no damps, no shield-regen mods, no hacking mods, no armor mods, and no speed mods in order to make that other suit pick only two (rather than four) of these same mods.
Anyway, I cannot wait until a week or so into Charlie when all those who say Cal scout is OP, Gal scout deserves to be invisible with 2 slots to spare (in fact, after Charlie, in most cases 3) - - especially those who skill into the supposedly new and improved assault suits - - get ganked every other second by invisible SGs running around them in circles.
Then the Gal Scout and SG will be nerfed so badly that they, like Cal scout in Charlie, will become useless. At that point, I'm sure everyone will be happy when they're dying from bullets 70+ meters away.

Please provide ONE Pre-Charlie example where this is the case. Also, please provide one post-Charlie example where it is.
In the game I play, the Gal Scout needs to sacrifice absolutely nothing to be better at dampening than the Cal, have more ehp, be at least equal in speed.
The only thing the Pre-Charlie Cal Scout truly does better than the Pre-Charlie Gal Scout is scan. But this is offset by the fact that such scans are meaningless in relation to any semi-intelligent Gal Scout fit.
The Post-Charlie Cal Scout will have better scan range but equal precision (and that equality is based on whether or not the Cal Scout user chooses to exhaust all high slots).
Also, let's not forget that the Gal Scout has enough low slots to match the Cal Scouts max range.
Naturally, all these facts mean that the Cal Scout is OP. |
