I feel like the Amarr will get a lot more noobs as we will have the highest Armor by far. Having the highest base and being the only sentinel with 4 low slots after it comes out. so we will most likely have our base 75+85-135 armor hp on the gallantes. because if your not rocking two repair mods your not much use after that first damaging(unless you logibro it up with a squad). takes way to long to get useful after that. That said if they do get armor only 75 short of ours they then are lacking half their repair. so its lose lose going toe to toe with the Amarr now. at least heavy vs heavy.
Then again we might not because of the CPU/PG nerf. Might make it too hard for the noobs to "think" about what is more important.
The HMG becoming more skill demanding also might limit the number of noobs that try to brick tank it.
Though going through the buffs to the assaults it is still impossible to fill all slots with complex items. so it is not a unwarnted buff. Honestly makes them kinda tight to fit everything you want. but if you have mAX and I mean max cpu/pg cost reductions on everything. then you can fit a proto with almost full proto gear. |

I strongly suspect that the amarr are in danger of a future nerf.... hopefully i'm wrong.
but as an in squad heavy they will destroy all other suits unless they get separated. think about it, an amarr sentinel with max health two logis with two outflanking scouts with cloaks, shottys and res.. now bring in to the equation the amarr sentinel resistances to both types of damage, with a higher resistance against projectile on it's armour... now let's imagine that it's a longtime heavy vet, using a six kin, or boundless....
good luck... |

Yeah I'll be enjoying my scout properly for a short while, not that I don't anyway but its going to be nice to have 1 sidearm damage mod in place of 1 of the two prec mods I run.
Nice to actually have a bonus that helps my squad a bit as well.
Amarr scout before it was cool.

I don't know what to put in my 5th low slot for my assault.
Currently 3 complex plates and 1 armour repair.
Amarr scout before it was cool.

Did you notice that the Standard Caldari Sentinel has no low slots? So, no Armour Repair, no Reactive Plate, and since Sentinels donGÇÖt have equipment slots, no Repping Nanohive.
At Standard tier, the Sentinel which is supposed to be the most independent is completely dependent on Logi support. Of course if you are going to be dependent on Logi support your are much better off running Amarr or Gallente.
So, as far as I can tell the Caldari Sentinel is practically useless for its intended role until you get to the Advanced tier.

Honestly from what I am seeing in ptotofits. The reactive plates once they finally get them to take the armor regen in will be best possibly. having five of them nets you less then a 38 armor difference. when they fix the regen on them to take into account the 25% bonus then they will have the same regen as 2 complex armor repairs and only a 5% speed pen. instead of the 12% of the three enhanced plates and two complex armor repairers do now. |

yep, noticed....
however, if you find that a problem then i'd suggest you start looking towards a different heavy suit. even at proto level you only have 1 slot so those logies are pretty important, and don't expect them to really opt to rep you when there's armour heavy nearby.
they are not a good heavy.. they are an o.k heavy IF you know how to use them whilst running away.. Do not ever expect to stand toe to toe with amarr or gallente sentinels it won't work, they are basically a scrapper not a fighter, short ambush like encounters instead of stand and fight. don't worry too much about armour, if your armour is being hit then your already in trouble.
although it might just be me....
