If my historical memory serves well, the principle reason why Logistics Vehicles were temporarily pulled out of actiion in the game was due to their purpose/role/use not being properly defined yet in relation to any future intergration into the broader EVE Online link to Dust 514.
I won't banter about theories whether Dust is going to stick around if Project Legion gets going and succeeds in the Eve-link where Dust did not, or whether Dust still has a future in stronger links to EVE play.
But it does seem as if it should, WITHIN the current encapsulated environment we're stuck in now, be safe to RE-activate logistical vehicles for player use again?
If so, I think Dust should be reintroduced to Logistical Vehicles and their associated Logi-bonuses and Logi-Modules again. Thos players among us who remember them in the game, and remember how to use them have never really been a hazard to overall gameplay. And those players new to Dust who have never experienced using a Logi-vehicle can taste what it's like to be "logi" on wheels/ wings instead of always on foot.
It WAS an interesting and hard to master support role.
Universe of good wishes for the 49, especially CCP Eterne...

I liked the logi lav. The armor/shield rep tools were cool when not being a major pain. I tried to help out tanks but they died too fast back then and the reps weren't useful at all outside of infantry. If reworked some I'd love to see them again.

I'm a big proponent of more content being in Dust whenever possible, I'll ask CCP about this and see what can be done to find a possible method for moving forward on it.
