Meh.
I lone wolf a lot, and I often end up in the top 3, but I consider myself above average at best.
With this matchmaking system its impossible to say.
Too many times you get thrown into games with proto squads and not have any help on your team and have an abysmal game.
Other times, you get just the right mix and go bananas.
It is just a crap shoot in pubs.
I would say PC is a better indicator, but I don't play those to know.

If you don't get number one always when solo rail tanking your doing it wrong.
Put these items in legion as they will add diversity to vehicles as they did before!

As a solo Sentinel that does well (I don't think I do that great) I appreciate you saying this. However pubs are easier than FW and PC. In those I would rather have a squad backing me than running solo.
Edit: Hey True, I'd be a whore for the Empress if she is into Gallenteans!

Eh, I generally end up in top three nearly every match. Definitely do not see myself as the best. Though, I run gk.0 Assault w/Duvolle as a main and have everything else sorta average. Don't play in squads because most corps are either like "Git gud scrub, lol" or are ACTUALLY scrubs. |

Everyone in this thread seems to be thinking the same thing--a solo player ranking in the top three of a pub match against scrubs means nothing.
What about solo players who are able to stand their grounds against corp squads like Nyain San and still rank within the top three? And by top three, I mean including the other team.
These players are undoubtedly skilled. They could be good at farming WP or slaying, but the fact remains is that are consistent at what they do despite which enemies they may encounter. |

i run logi but lonewofl maybe 50% of the time but i get alot more poitns when i only lonewolf maybe 30% and hump the asses of my teammates 70% of the time and can be MVP a good deal of time

I fit that description and can firmly state that it is not true, in my case any way. I run solo because I am a bit anti-social, don't like waiting around and because if I squad with my corp I will be lucky to get 5th or 6th on the leaderboard, if I solo 1st place is very common and I expect top 3. I am not a good slayer but I am good at seeing what needs to be done and doing it otherwise. This mesns uplinks, hives, AV and some repping or maybe coming in with an HMG. All these things pay off in WP, but in a squad someone is already doing all or most of them.
Because, that's why.
