Myofibril stimulants do not enhance Nova knife damage. sidearm damage mods enhance Nova knives. Myofibril stimulants enhance it when you hit someone UNARMED. They are for heavies Who like punching NK scouts to death.
so whoever was mad about kincats still being too expensive to run with myofibril Can calm down now.
Once again, Nova knives are Not Considered "unarmed combat." They are classed as a "sidearm" |

Can we just get Nova Gauntlets that make Hadoukens possible when charged? As for a normal melee attack, a Shoryuken seems appropriate. |

Maybe the knife missed so the enemy started running, now that they are running faster than your walk speed you can't nova knife them as easy. Therefore you must sprint and melee at the same time to catch that mo-fo! CLOTHESLINE!

So you skill into nova knives directly from the sidearm skill tree, you buy them from the side arm section of market, yo place them in thesidearm slot, yet you are surprised they are counted as side arms?

Please link the thread your responding to, because I don't see your point. If they are running a melee build then stacked Myofib's & kinkats is possibly their best option(I personally use a dampener & kinkat in my fit). Anyway, damage mods require more resources than Myofibs. & if they can't fit Myofibs, then how are damages mods any better? Please link the thread so I can offer some real assistance. |

never played Mr punchy before?
although my typical fit is 3 blues a red and green on an advanced.. it means you get to keep punching and punching and punching.
pretty much punch forever after sprinting across the map..... and since your doing ~500 damage a punch its only 3 hits per hvy |

I had it happen to me once in my Amar Sentinel, I mowed down 5 guys, backed up to rep, turn around and WHAM, a scout punched me once and I died FML.

Knives - both knives must connect for full damage(longer animation for full damage)
Slight delay between button press & animation.
Can't sprint while charging
Melee - Full damage w/ no delay & slightly higher ROF
No sound FX to alert enemy reds(very important fact)
There is simply a higher margin of error with knives IMO. Personally I don't have issues with hit detection on my melee builds. |
