Yep. Sentinels also have one of the lowest required training requirements in the game, as they have no need to train any equipment or EWAR whatsoever. So yeah, put some SP into that fitting optimization. |

I run Commando quite a bit, so proto Assault Rifle and proto Plasma Cannon, trained both to 5 with proficiency and fitting optimization. Do you know why you don't see me crying? Because I understand that's part of the role.
Shall I do the math for you on how much SP is required to get 4 equipment for proto? See how the Logi's feel? Or will you continue on your self pity?
EDIT: 3.7 million SP for Uplink, Nanohive, Repair Tool, and Scanner. How much equipment do you have to train for as a heavy? |

i've spent far less SP on the logi far less
Alrighty then, gimme a moment here to calc out exactly how much it takes to fit one of each role, assuming max stats, 2 heavy weapons for the sentinel, 4 equipment for the logi, and a full gambit of defenses. |

Granted this is calced from ProtoFits.com, so the SP investment might be a little rough.
The addition of a second heavy weapon Operation/Proficiency/Fitting optimization is roughly 4 million right? And you've got Nano/Repair/Uplink/Scan at about 1 million each for the Logi. roughly speaking, the second heavy weapon is similar to the investment of the equipment. So his claim that "ERMERGERD I've invest WAAAAY more in Sentinels than I have Logis" is simply inaccurate. Can it be more? Yes, but the difference is not significant. In fact he's complaining that he doesn't want to train Optimization, meaning that he probably hasn't much much into it, which drops his to-date cost of training Sentinels even more. |
