That sucks that someone would steal a knife kill. Ive been a heavy since last august but if i see a scout behind a red i just sit and watch. Then laugh as the red drops. Then ill do the heavy double hop to show my congrats to the perpetrator of the knifing.

why didn't you just shoot your target then rather than going for the knife kill?

I had someone steal a knife kill from me once...
Match was nearly over.
Had been following a Gallente heavy for a short while...
Jaws' Theme playing in my head...
Nearly catch up, charging Nova Knives...
All of a sudden... WHHIIIIIRRRRRR!
THUMP!
Gallente heavy gets plastered to a wall by an LAV, earning the most satisfying sound imaginable, almost immediately after which, the game ends, giving me just enough time to stare in surprise at the LAV and the body of the heavy whom I'd been about to shank.
Good times.
Nova Knives are best sidearm.

Your the one having your kill stolen. They got the kill faster with a rifle and obviously without retaliation

What usually happens is that I do the two charged slashes, and before I can do the two uncharged slashes to finish them off, someone shot him dead.
