Actually if you're good at aiming it, it wrecks infantry. As for damage, it really tears through shield vehicles, particularly light vehicles like LAVs and Dropships. It of course struggles against armor, but that's to be expected.
So more splash radius? Not needed. I like that it's a skill weapon that's difficult to use. I mean it is an AV weapon, so it should be hard to use against infantry.
Damage? Ehhhhhhhhhhh maybe a little, maybe. |

I think the primary purpose of that is to really encourage it being used at close range, which it does. But it is pretty ridiculous on how painfully slow it is. |

Could you do something with reload animation as well - if someone is trying to shot target that is very far away reload animation covers(with player arm) impact of charge.

Every other thread about PLCs mention that there are still some issues with hit detection,... (Now this thread is one of them). I find these issues are more outspoken with the increasement of latency issues. No use in changing PLCs stats before these issues get fixed.
Also funny: It's possible to fire a giant ass plasma ball between a mercs legs with doing no damage while if you try to throw a grenade between a space it just bounces back on an invisible wall. |

xXGhazbaranXx did make a post on Blast radiuswhich is very true. The listed blast radius is untrue, you need direct hits really. The direct damage DOES NOT increasing. I am an avid PLC user check my tag below..longest PLC kill. CCP need to fix the blast radius this is all. As soon as this is done then the thing will be perfect.

Lining up a shot on a person that's standing still only for the potato to fly right through them. That's the only problem I have with the PLC as it is now.
Everything else about it is fine or awesome. You really do need Rapid Reload or a Commando suit to wield it effectively, but right now it is a legitimate choice in Light Weapons.
If you can't keep up, shut up.

i actually think that the projectile speed could do with attention. or possibly just change the brightness of it?
it really bugs me when you fire a shot off and the person you shoot at just calmly steps to one side.
although if the splash damage and radius were improved it would possibly fix the problem. |
