DUST will last as long as people are consistenly playing and AURUM is being bought and spent
It's pretty much that simple. The more who stick around for the game, the longer it stays up

Exactly! That is why the players who keep leaving, or those who refuse to play as some kind of protest will ultimately be the ones responsible for the end of Dust. |

Exactly! That is why the players who keep leaving, or those who refuse to play as some kind of protest will ultimately be the ones responsible for the end of Dust. Edit.... That is why we should continue to support Dust to show CCP that it's worth further development and we should encourage them to do so, why? Because Dust is worth keeping alive!
This is how EA gets away with its bullshit. Don't support a company because you want them to do better, that sends the wrong message and tells them they can lie to the consumer. Support a company because you like what they offer today. This whole pre-order and alpha/beta culture games are going through encourage shady business practices. By all means play the game and spend money but don't do it because you think they will fix this game or because you may get some benefit from legion. Simple rule of spending money on an online only game, don't spend any money that you aren't willing to flush down a toilet. Because when the servers shut down, and they always shut down, the memories are the only thing you get to keep. |
