I record a lot of games for Dust, but my ultimate dream has been to arrange a game where everyone kills each other with melee only. You can have anything in your hands, PLC, HMG, Pistol, Nanite Injector, Scanner, etc, but can only use melee. Nova Knives can't be used and no grenades.
Anyone interested in joining up and giving it a shot? I think it would be a blast and an amazing kill feed to behold.
If I could arrange it, getting Manus Peak and standing at the top of that to behold all the flying fist glory would be so amazing.
I might be the only one tho. If you're interested let me know. I need 2 teams worth of peeps so this may or may not happen...

Personally, I think keeping it as it is would spice things up. Sure, heavies can hit hard, but their slow turn speed and the number of slots other suits have to increase melee damage, I think it could actually even each other out pretty well.
However, it is a great point. Maybe arranging a starter fit only game would be considered if the number of people who are participating are really concerned.

I had forgotten turn speed my mistake. I should have remembered when I mentioned the scouts. |

lol. Ok, I'm going to get a chat channel started this week. Please help me spread the word around to see if you can gather in game interest. Right now I still don't have enough to field an entire team but I think this will be a fun enough idea that we can get the people we need.

Not a problem, sabre. I have a feeling the weekend will be the most convenient for everyone. We just have to find that special one. Otherwise, I see horrible weekday timezone collisions. I'm not making anyone stay up till 1AM for this.
I hope I don't have to implement any such rule and I also think people will find it humorous to beat someone to death with say, a nanite injector. Oh the irony. However, if there is a repeat offender or repeat problem of it 'accidently' happening. Then I will implement rules and/or kick individuals if necessary.

It indeed is a great idea, yet I will tell you why it won't be as successful as intended.
stamina is too low, as well as the recovery rate. Even though you are using a cloak you will still be visible on their passive scans so it will prove no purpose. I would recommend just adding a Complex profile dampener and a scanner instead of a cloak and a cpu upgrade. Therefore you won't be seen by other heavies and medium suits at least, and since you will be scnning them you will the most opportune time to jump them.
I prefer the MinMando since it can still 2 shot most heavies and has the stamina to be effective .
