Now, this is just an opinion I've held onto since 1.7... but...
Anyway, I personally want to see it's dispersion or recoil looked at. Given it's lightning fast burst ratio, I don't think it really deserves it's laser accuracy. /shrug

"One does not simply" run like a Raptor. Only Mk.0 Scouts will do that.

Begin flame war. the CR is just about right.. if you want lazor accuracy go whine about Rail Rifles Pssh, nah dude, rail rifle has some pretty hefty kick to it... That thing takes some skill to utilize and anyone worth their salt can just utilize cover to their advantage and counter the charge-time; it's small, but it makes a huge difference when you're dipping in and out of cover. Combat Rifle is just good at everything. No counter to it.
You're right about the CR, but the RR in CQC is pretty ridiculous too.

Think there was mention of the Rail Rifle receiving a sort of damage 'hill' like the Laser Rifle, doing less damage at closer ranges. I'm not going to argue about the lore of it but, yanno, whatever if it balances it out, I'm game. Personally, I don't have a problem with the Rail Rifle in CQC, but I use the Plasma Rifle so it's sort of my element anyway. Just don't get caught out in the open and there's really nothing the guy can do if you're good with your strafing.
I would be fine with that change.
