This is common knowledge
Users can't complain about the CR at all. There is no defense to its current state.

Master Smurf wrote:Poor CR has been nerfed the most and people still want more nerfs- because they aren't Minny. The weapon is the way it is because it makes up for what the matar lack but on other suits it's just icing. A fitting penalty to others could work but also a 100 - 200 rpm reduction on non-minmatar suits would be ideal Minmatar suits suck, so their weapons should be OP.....
Look it would be ridiculous to lock out other races from a single gun and it's not reasonable to say that "it was nerfed before, thus not OP". The weapon is the blatant win out over all others. It has the single highest accuracy rating of any rifle, even the laser rifle has less of an accuracy rating, much less. The weapon should exemplify pray & spray yet it's just better than every rifle in all but one domain.

Master Smurf wrote:All I am saying is if the weapon is nerfed more then the Minmatar suits suffer the most. Now if the suits are normalized enough for them to use diverse weapon combinations as others then go for it.
Currently other suits can get more out of a CR than Minmatar
Also I think some of you are overstating the strengths of the CR over the others Combat Rifle has the best DPS, the best fitting ability, the best damage profile, better range than an assault rifle, best hipfire accuracy of all the rifles.... These are not overstatements
This has absolutely nothing to do with suits. I don't care if your minnow suit is lacking, take it up with the judge. We are talking about fixing a rifle that really destroyed diversity.

I will concede the assault and commando point (play scout) and I will wait to see the new cpu/pg because increasing the requirements of the rifle will mostly hurt the race that are supposed to benefit from the rifle
You can't balance on racial purity

-Chuckles- I take it you use the Combat Rifle, Adipem? -Chuckles- was my initial reaction when community members I'd come to respect rallied in defense of the AR-514 status quo. I'd assumed they were trolling. To answer your question, yes, I've skilled the CR to Proficiency IV. Same with the AR and most recently the ScR. Skilled the RR to Proficiency V. I've found each of the Fine Rifles to be stupidly good in close quarters. A weapon optimized for killing at range should be sh*t in CQC ... because balance and stuff. Ultra-precise hipfire ... from a ranged weapon ... all the while frantically wiggling? That's something to -chuckle- about. Then again, that's just one guy's opinion. *Bojo switches from assault pistol to scrambler pistol* Don't worry, I've got an alternate plan for close quarters.
