I heard that CCP blamed the failure of a Legion Beta on the Plastation's 3 hardware.


Don't ask me how, apparently that's the only excuse they have and were to lazy to change it.

Practical answer:

They will probably start talking about it and releasing more screens/gameplay once Dust is finally balanced so that they can start transfering numbers over to Legion.
The question is...when will Dust finally be balanced?

I'm going to say they'll probably give us another tease at fanfest 2015, while they distract us with Valkyrie. Then it'll be another 6 months before they actually start really talking about the details. Most likely interviews, screenshots, more press stuff. Another 6 months and they will finally be wrapping thigs up with Dust, now pushing our community to the PC with exclusive alpha. Fanfest 2016 will have a playable demo on a single map.

If that's not the case, we can expect some sort of rough period where they don't talk about it for another 6 months, and then finally give us some sort of evidence with their progress.

The game will then be in a beta stage for a long time and won't see a full release until late 2017 or early 2018.

By that time, Star Wars Battlefront 3 will be out and will do it 100x better, along with Destiny 2 and some other crazy new open world game that no one saw coming.

They can't say when Legion is coming out, due to NDAs.

But rest assured, there is most likely a possibility that CCP is discussing the thought of bringing together a dev team to look into how long it would take to realisticaly begin gathering the resources to begin working on something that isn't a 5 minute long cut scene.

The long and short of it is "soon tm", but if you all keep giving CCP money, it would put the thought of the idea of the possibility on the fast track to "maybe sooner tm".

Go ask the EVE folks how badly they want you jagaloons sticking your grubby fingers into their universe.

As a matter of fact, thats where all the Devs are right now. With about every other IP CCP had thrown in the trash, the Devs can noe work on whats important. Playing EVE, keeping you knuckleheads from having any impact on tranquility, and padding their wallets with your cash from Dust.

All whilst saying; "Dust to Legion asset/SP transfer? Hmmmmmmmmmm.......maybe......give us more money and we will definitely consider thinking about it some time in the distant future."

This is not an answer anyway! How are they supposed to mix up console and PC players? One will always be in advantage over the other one, not simply because can be more powerful and because of the input devices but also because it's much easier to hack/mod.

How are you supposed to keep the fights balanced between PC and Consoles?

That's why a PS4 port, in case of a PC version won't simply happen. It's just damage control.

Do you remember all the hell kb/m heavies did because of turn speed? And would be the same for anyone using m/kb. It can't actually take you more than 10 cm to turn 360 degree. It would be awful for serious PC gamer.

if you give everyone auto aim, m/kb will still be advantaged. But if you give AA to console players, well, that's a good excuse for an Aimbot.

About Valkyrie, it's still not clear, but I really think they're going to split it into 2: the one for PS4 and the one for PC.
