The state of the Matari war effort has been dicey at best lately. Random mercenaries versus entire corporations of Amarr loyalists. I have even lost contact with two channels of Minmatar battle organizers, without an explanation as to why. I refuse to give up hope, there are still so many of our Brothers and Sisters that have yet to taste freedom.

I'm having a hard time taking the morality boosting speech seriously when it's done by a mercenary who names himself after mammaries. How do you know I am not named after a bird from all of our ancestors original home world?

How do you know I am not named after a bird from all of our ancestors original home world? ((Out of character, because Earth is a myth and nobody knows of the New Eden population's true origin. Theories suggest a common ancestry, but there is nothing pointing to anything regarding a planet beyond an intergalactic or even intradimensional wormhole. So naming yourself after a bird from earth is simply impossible and improbable. In character, naming yourself after an obscure bird doesn't make it much more credible.)) Given that Mold Theory has gained traction in the Scientific Community, and most Matari ships are named after Earth based Norse Mythology, I think whether I am named after fun bags or a bird from the alleged "Earth" is a moot point.
My merc name doesn't have to be my family name either. Broadcasting my true name to my former Amarr captors is no way to keep my family safe either.
That said, I'm just here to shoot Amarr in the face and chew bubblegum.
