Figures are really impressive.
I guess that's what the game studios are aiming for.
Of course, at the time they have that 800k+ concurrent players, their product and infra HAS to be good enough, balanced enough and grown out of most silly bugs.
If not, bad reputation will stain the name forever.
My sad estimate was that Dust was never ready enough - and CCP knew this as the tv spots were never aired.
People would enjoy Dust a lot more if they accepted the fact that EVERYTHING is subject to change

Not even COD can get that many players regularly, only on launch day.
The most played game on steam, Dota 2, peaked at 735,000 players today.

The Destiny threads on this DUST forum are perplexing to me.
I don't really care either way but what's the big deal?
Destiny is a vastly different game and actually looks and plays a little cartoonish to me.
But you can play both. Why do people talk like it has to be one or the other? Seems childish to me. It's like kids arguing about whether XBox or Playstation is better.

Definitely plan on playing both. Destiny for my PVE and Dust(while it's here) for my PVP. Things happen too fast for my old a** in other shooters. Probably why I sucked in PC. Dust's high TTK was the only reason it stuck with me, my reaction time sucks.
