I had an idea for an event and tell me if you like it.
When dust is at its final hour and it is announced that they are no more hotfixes, it would be awesome if there was a event to where the winners would get to face the devs/members of ccp alliance in a pc battle with reduced null cannon damage to mcc and 500 clones each. and each member of both teams provided with 50 officer weapons of their choice to be used in the pc. it would make for a truly epic battle and end dust with a bang
now the event to determine said winner would not be based on kdr or wp/d that way everbody has a fair opportunity to win unlike a certain event of late, but on hours logged in set time frame and number of battles participated in set time frame(yes some ps3's would melt).
now the reward for beating the devs would of course need to be something to carry over to the game that dare not speak its name on these forums
tickle the like button if you support this idea and if not please comment why not.

Your about a year and a half too late to play in that Players vs. Devs match. The Imperfects one the closed beta players tournament, earned the privilege of playing the Devs then proceeded to wipe the floor with them. They also earned one of a kind officers gear the likes of which we will never see again (Balac's Officer Assault suits with all the trimmin's)

What is with all the emphasis on DUST being over? I'm not oblivious to Legion, but so much of this ignores that Legion is still in development and NOT endowed with any release estimate let alone a release date. You guys are crying we're out of beer while the keg still flows nectar.
And if somebody has a source to an ACTUAL date for a Legion release OR date DUST is set to go offline, please share. And no, the opening day of DCUO514 doesn't count.

Finally someone else tierd of hearing legion this legion that. i cant standit when people bring up legion when im specifically talking abot dust on the DUST section of the DUST fourms, why dont they go legion up the lgion subsection of the fourms.
Dust still lives and legion isnt even a real project and as far as anyone knows except the devs dust is the only green lit project on this ip, the one little bit of legion shown was just ported dust assets |

and the hotfixes are just sticking plasters till legion is ready then dust development will pick back up IN-LINE with legion

thus me calling it "a game that dare not speak its name on these forums" i was trying to use discretion when bringing that sensitive issue up thanks for thwarting my efforts
