It's more than obvious to me when I watch his videos that ADS are UP.
It's bloody painfully obvious when I absolutely wreck them with my forge gun.

Would that suffice as evidence to show that ADSs are OP? By your logic, yes it would.

You're choosing (arguably) the best pilots and saying that the ADS is OP because of their performance. The average ADS pilot will usually go about 10-15 kills in a GOOD MATCH (meaning against AV) and will lose one probably every 3-4 games of high use.
P.S.: Snugglez can kiss the whitest part of White-Lion's Incubus. Snugglez gets wrecked every time I see them fight. |

The OP is not making any fallacy. His claim is that ADS are UP. He uses a video link to back up his claim. The video itself also does not make a claim about anything being OP or UP but it does contain undeniable demonstrations of game issues that hurt rather than help pilots.
Videos showing pilots doing well are however have to be considered in terms of their publishers drive. How many people are likely to release videos of them doing really badly? Are you more likely to see a video on YouTube of a great game where the maker does well or one where he does poorly?
In the video linked the issues shown are not linked to performance in the game. They demonstrate how the game operates. You could argue that the video maker chose to only show the bad things that paint being a pilot as difficult or unfair, but even if he did you cannot deny that the things shown actually happen.

so a dropship pilot who has some weight in the forums can make a little video catered to defend his position and the sheep are going to flock to take his point of view
the guy is just worried that the Nerf to his favourite thing is going to come as more people using it will expose it ads got away / gets away with it as its not spammed, but now that it may be spammed due to affordability, JR is making a pre emptive strike |

ADS are worthless without tank support and general infantry or AV support, as well as OB support for things like PC matches to get the forge gunners off of high places
i personally don't know how ADS pilots put up with it. this game is just terrible to people with real skill, it is punishing and unrewarding when your weapon of choice can't even retaliate or counter in any way without getting two or three-shotted instantly
try flying an ADS then you will see what separates the pilots from the scrubs who want them nerfed into the ground when they are already UP

Well judge is also now on CPM1, his video is more educational than it is QQ and even then its about legitimate problems pilots have faced since beta.if anything its to educate people about piloting dropships.
If you have the new isk prices for the ads hulls you better link it right now. If they dropped the hull price to say 250k isk then it will still take a few games to grind for a full ship. It will mean that dedicated pilots might actually turn a profit.
Pro tip the counter to dropship spam is two forge gunners working together. It doesn't matter how many dropships they call in, they will die or run. |

or one single forge gunner... especially caldari sentinels...
if the forger is proficient in armor damage, reload speed, ammo capacity, and generally pointing and shooting accurately... all he needs is an extra pair of eyes to tell him where the dropship went after it nitro boosted out of his line of sight. oh, and definitely a logi with hives.

Secondly, if the hmg heavies are skilled into forge guns they can become forge gunners at a supply depot or if they die/suicide. You could keep the same level of heavy spam and counter a dropship spam. (Really tho they will probably end up crashing into each other anyway.) |

I indeed believe that air superiority needs to be very important. However, I also believe that teamwork should be very important.
The question that is raised is what should be better: a standard dropship with a full, good crew, or an ADS with tons of SP and 1 guy in it?

just reduce the price before you start bitching please. ads is way to expensive to be "balanced" correctly, as making it easy to kill while being expensive would be unfair to players without pc funding. however, ads are currently a bit too difficult to kill with only 1-2 av players, which makes them an unequal force modifier. however, this is mostly due to the unbalanced afterburner, which can get you out of harms way instantly, and has almost no cooldown. my suggested solution to this is reduce ads hull price to maybe 100k, which is still more than tanks, then increase afterburner cooldown to maybe 30 seconds, and also fix the broken skill stacking |

How about the same as tanks... 1 guy 1 large turret will tear everything up if left unchecked... 3 guys with turrets will tear everything up regardless.
Just a heads up, but small missiles are much easier to land from a side turret (especially against dropships) and because of the massive damage rails deal to vehicles everyone seems to forget that missiles make the other guy flail about like a deranged wasp, therefore stopping many of the hits that would have happened.
I'm all for ditching the rof bonus & evening the playing field. |

too difficult to land a shot each with a forge gun? What are you drunk when you try to fire?
I can down a dropship on my own, 2 people will kill it without doubt, lol. |

What I gathered from the video is that ADS are not UP. To be able to demonstrate there is a rendering problem by hovering over a rooftop and take three voleys of swarms , only to be left(?) with 700 HP and then say that thats when he had to run or be killed is not UP.
There is a rendering problem but even so to suggest that an ADS should be able to see the AVer before the AVer sees the ADS is not realistic...
AV = Approx. 6-9 ft. tall, quietly blends into terrain. ADS = flying tank making noise .
Who should spot who first. Unless the ADS has "eagle eyes" my money is on the AVer.

Judge has even proven that the giant blue shiny forge gun glow, WHICH IS THERE FOR A REASON, cannot be seen by a dropship. YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO SEE THE FORGE GUN GLOW.

Has enough HP to take some damage, has the AB to burn away to safety, can be useful in PC if the pilot is very good, the main weapon is useful, powerful and accurate depending on pilot |

There's nothing unbalanced about the afterbuner with how easy it is to get downed by a single swarm launcher or forge gunner. Sticking around for more than a second a such a slow speed guarantees your own death, so that's why you absolutely need an afterburner.
My apologies if I come off as an elitist, but I try to view things objectively, logically, and factually.
