The ONLY real solution would to set up a network for public security, safety, jobs, and food distribution that could be secured indefinitely so that the populace would have a chance to actually switch leaders from the warmongers to a more organized government core.
Also, such a setup will not be able to come from a European or US system, because some idiots used the foreign aid system to make a genetic map of the region, in other words, exploit them, hence they are very mistrustful of foreign aid now.
so what your suggesting is either a regional government or new world order.... the regional government is less threatening of individual freedoms and mass genocide while the new world order is 99% threatening of individual freedoms and mass genocide.
I personally want Israel to demolish the gaza strip and rid the world of another islam group, the less of them out there the better. I do understand that people are tired of war and death caused by political, military, cultural and regional differences but at the same time we need war to make sure that those people who are tired of it aren't killed by an enemy otherwise they will die and their purpose would be meaningless.

There have been four ceasefires organised so far IIRC and throughout every single one Hamas fired rockets at Israel so they ended early.
Nobody is going to intervene. The only thing that's really likely to happen is Israel is going to continue until they feel they're done (presumably when Hamas stops firing rockets). What about the Israeli gunboat that fired on Palestinian children, CHILDREN, on the beach? Clearly a war crime. Also, the truces are broken by Hamas-only? if you read more deeply youl see that hamas is using the palasteniens as human shields, so how could one expect to get rid of an enemy when they are wanting to destroy you but they are hiding behind innocence?
