Why does the Plasma Rifle have overheating set on?

Why does the plasma rifle have overheating set to on? It can't build up enough heat in a single clip to overheat, and the cooling is so quick that overheating it is (almost) impossible. I'm surprised the AR doesn't over heat since blasters usually tend to done Thermal damage as their primary..... while lasers only do it as a secondary...... CQC fighters, overheating = Death. It over heats and I man up like a real armour tanker should and just tank until the over heat is done. Gallente whine while Amarr shine! Uhh... What? It's not a conventional overheat Also the advantage of the Krins is dat hipfire yo It's not a conventional overheat. You can still switch weapons I believe and it doesn't deal feedback damage.
