Now before the fatties in the room rebut, I am very much aware that Scout suits are also spammed.
A number of old-school Scouts (myself included) have made every effort to see this corrected. We neither pretend nor claim that "everything is fine" and we call out the FotM chasers who do. We have identified key problems specific to our frame and have proposed to the Devs various means by which to correct them.
We do not want the crutch; we do not defend the crutch.
Scouts want balance. Because balance is good for Dust.
In response to the OP, I would ask two questions:
1) If "everything is fine" then why are your suits so heavily spammed?
2) If Charlie doesn't fix your spam, what do you and your fellow fatties intend to do about it?

1. There has never been a higher profile a scout than Bojo the Mighty. While I cannot speak for the great Bojo himself, I can attest to the judicious and enlightened nature of his uniquely vast wisdom. As such, I cannot imagine that Bojo wishes for craptastic Heavies. To which high profile scouts do you refer?
2. Agreed. I think the Charlie tweaks will be a good start toward bringing an end to FotM status of both my suit and yours.

Bojo is Bojo. He says wise things. He says silly things.
"Grav" (who we affectionately call Gav) is a youngish guy who holds the title of village idiot. On rare occasions, he comes up with a gem so we've come to adopt him despite his being a 1.8 Scout. We routinely brutalize and browbeat the poor kid, which comes as direct consequence of his routinely saying stupid sh!t. We too wish that Gav would say less stupid sh!t.
I am guilty of slinging mud in hopes of prodding Heavies. I'd like to see them step up and take the reigns of their FotM. Many have, but many more have adopted the tanker's "everything is fine" mantra.
We want the same thing, Heavies and Scouts. We want our suits to be spammed less often, and we want to restore our presently soiled reputations. This may come in Charlie thanks to Super Assaults. We'll likely hate each other alot less once we share a common (likely overpowered) adversary.

1. If every other merc you see is running the same type of suit, there's likely a problem with that suit.
