Has anyone had a enemy player put down a remote in front of them, see where it lands, and then it magically teleports, usually underneath your feet? I have no lag whenever this occurs, it happens consistently, and it pisses me off.
My apologies if I come off as an elitist, but I try to view things objectively, logically, and factually.

I've only seen this on certain consoles. Not under but up. I threw about 4 on one console and watched it climb the entirety of the wall all the way up. Strange animation, but when I detonated the remotes to see if they were up there...nope, still at my feet. *sigh*

No, but I have detonated several by gunfire from what should be a more-than-safe distance (>10m) and ended up looking for a respawn.

I have seen that, and that's been around for as long as I remember, but what I'm talking about is when an enemy player tosses a remote onto the ground, I see where it lands, but then it disappears, only to find itself underneath me. It's as if the animation and actual placement of the remote is completely off-sync, or at least from a different player's perspective, and never the remoter's.

Interesting. I will say as someone that has put down a **** ton of proxies, my REs slide. I throw them down but they go a fair distance before actually 'sticking' to the floor. This is sometimes very irritating. It happens almost always when I'm moving. If I'm standing perfectly still, they tend to slide less. I wonder if they are doing the same for you but your animation is glitching and you're not seeing the actual 'slide' but the initial drop and then the appear after the fact.

Remotes slide about 5 meters if you do it right. Ive done it before. Threw one while walking watched it slide in between 3 heavies and then it went boom. 150 more wp for me i guess.

I've seen it happen with other equipment as well. For example uplinks. Sometimes if you put them down on the floor right at the objective (null cannon?), you see the uplink float across the floor and settle just outside. At which point it starts working.
Probably has something to do with something or other.
