Then it happened.
My Amarrian brother struck me down... in an Assault ak.0... WITH A COMBAT RIFLE! BLASPHEMY!!!!
I sent him the most righteous, racist hatemail I could come up with. Short but to the point. "How DARE you use that slave filth weapon on your brethren!"
You are not Amarrian and I even question whether you hold to the Faith.
You have not the right to questions any Amarrian of his or her motives....still I cannot help but wonder what this poor fool with the combat rifle was doing..... maybe I should take a more firm hand with raising the next generation of Amarrian soldiers.

Um sorry dude but they are the only faction working for the betterment of the cluster as a whole. Order, stability, economic growth, eventual equality, justice, and enlightenment.
Basically the good guys of New Eden.

No we're basically the only group working to unify humanity, end the threat of pirate factions, and basically present humanity with the best option.
Whereas the Gallente allow their political elite to rule the masses through voting blocs large enough to dominate elections, do not not allow segments of their people to vote, and manipulated an entire culture into being their shield against the Amarr.
Bastards who turned brother against brother where we Amarr would raise the Minmatar up to stand tall over all other people, as equals in the eyes of God, so that together man could be unified for all time.
I mean lets not pretend like the Gallente don't ignore the human rights of their POWs, especially the female ones, lets not pretend that the Minmatar allow terrorists like Ushra'khan to operate freely in their space, let us not pretend the Gallente did not down a titan in orbital over a planetful of civilians, and lets certainly not pretend that the Empire is not the most stable and economically prosperous regions of space, with the largest and most powerful navies, with the largest population united by a single faith under a single banner.

anyway, i'm having IRL issues right now so i'm gonna take my energy away from the dust forum for a while... hopefully when destiny comes out i'll be gone for good cause honestly im sick of dust
You really don't know how to separate reality from a game......?
Also slavery in the Amarrian sense is more a form of social exchange, albiet forced social exchange much like however every great empire of nation has achieved its power and status, with the eventual goal of social integration.
An example would be the Ni Kunni, Udorians, and Minmatar. The Ni Kunni accepted the Amarrian faith very quickly after their enslavement and within one generation 95% of their population was freed and made citizens. The Udorians were the first race to be subjugated and eventually bred into the True Amarr bloodline.
The Minmatar however attempted to resist and were belligerent and agressive. Even after 300 years few of their peoples truely accepted the faith. Those that did were freed and made citizens of the Amarr Empire or the Ammatar Mandate. Within the Empire the former Brutor Tribe comprises the 5th largest free ethnicity.
Issue with the Minmatar not the Amarr. Minmatar are too angry and stubborn to accept that joining us would be better for everybody...... and lets be honest.... it was the Shakorites that created the need for the CONCORD Emergency War Powers Act ....essentially re-igniting a war against the Amarr after the peace that was being sought after by Heideran and Karin Midular.
Them Matari peeps just couldn't let it go.....

Them Matari peeps just couldn't let it go..... It would also be good to point out that, for the most part, within the Empire proper, the term Slavery is used to refer to something entirely different from the Chattel Slavery practiced earlier in most other empires. The slavery of the Amarr Empire is about uplifting people to a higher state of thinking, and the holder is obligated to see that his slaves live healthy and relatively comfortable lives, and must supply education, healthcare, along with other amenities. It is a large responsibility, similar to the relationship between a parent and a child. Now, some holders have misinterpreted or exploited this practice of uplifting for their own selfish benefit, and those practices have been denounced by the Imperial Family for quite some time now. And even now, the Minmatar fight to "free" the people of Mattari Origin who freely choose to stay within the Empire, either out of love for the Empire, or merely for the higher standard of living available to them. Also the Caldari Titan was shot down over Caldari Prime, their ancestral home-world that was taken from them in just a small example of the savagery the Federation is capable of. Attempting to commit genocide on an entire people over a few deep space research installations in response to militant groups who where unrelated to the Caldari Government proper. If it hadn't been for this, the Caldari would not have needed to re-secure their homeworld with such a force.
100% Spot on!
