Kay, first of all - slow down - no idea what you were thinking when you first jumped in this thread but it probably isn't what I'm talking about, lol.
During Fan Fest I sat down at the graphics panel and was kind of an [redacted] toward the graphics guys asking some rather nit-picky stuff. But one of the things I did suggest, for Legion, was ways for us to look at another player and have a sort of rough idea of what their fit is just by glancing at them. Stuff like visible armor plating and what not.
Now, I understand this will likely -never- happen but the idea is something sort of fun to play around with, I think. I'm no professional artist (I mean, it's how I pay the bills but that's besides the point..) but to throw out what was running through -my mind- when I was talking about this, I decided to draw up some rough sketches (not exactly liking the shield module attachment though, was sort of the first thing I could think of).

An actual visual representation of what the enemy is packing?? This makes far to much sense.
I also love it, first thought when I entered was tech III suits. But I stayed for the drawings. :)

Yeeeh, kinda hard to imagine what the modules would physically look like on a suit but... I think it'd be a nifty addition. Don't have to go over-board with it, and make a different addition for all the different plates, just one gets the point across, yanno?
Just a thought, anyway.

I like the idea. It may be a lot of work for the art team, so it may be something that would better be iterated on over time than attempted for release, but if they could do it, it would be cool.
I think as a minimum they should make each suit type distinct. I have covered that in its own thread as it is a more limited and specific request than fit identification.
