though i agree with CCP Rattati that the assault suits needs a buff im not sure CCP is going the right way about it
the problem is logi suits will always have more HP and can pretty much do everything the assault classes can do and more
my suggestion is this and this is an example switch the high and low slots around give the logi suits all the high and low slots to the assault and give the assault slots to the logi
example and this will go for all suits but you get the picture
Current Gallente assualt proto 4 low slots 3 high
Current Gallente logi proto 3 high 5 low
what im proposing is this
fixed Gallente assualt proto 3 high 5 low
fixed Gallente logi proto 4 low slots 3 high
this way both classes can be what they are designed to do
Assualt class is an all round class but doesn't stand out but has the highest HP out of the medium and light suits
Logi has enough HP to survive but isn't acting as god with over 1k HP they are doing what they are meant to do support and cover
people would have more of a choose because right now the thought going though everyone's mind is why should i be an assault class when i can be a logi have more HP do more to help others and still dominate the map
people will have a choose should i go for assault a rounded suit with highest HP but is ok at everything else but not great or should i go for an logi suit ok it doesnt have the highest HP but it can defend its self and can get me the most war points and allow me to help others |

I disagree on the idea that Assaults are an "All Around Class". Generalized suits should be the Frame suits, whereas Assault is a specialty focused on killing. Instead of messing with slots right now, we need to look at the Assault's bonuses and determine if the bonuses it has truly define it as a "Slayer" suit, and if not, what bonuses need to be changed and added to make that happen. |

I think that's a fundamental failure in how Logis are set up.
Right now Logi's have a ton of resources to run their equipment. If they don't equip those equipment, they can use the excess resources to stack on more HP than an Assault. We need to lower their overall resources but increase their fitting bonus for equipment. This means that even if they don't use equipment, their overall resources limit them from stacking on tons of HP, but the bonus makes equipment so easy for them to fit that they're encouraged to do so. |

hmmmm not quite, I think the overall goal is similar but I think the proper solution isn't quite as simple as swapping slot layouts. |

I think Rattati will make the slot count on logis and assaults the same. We will find out for sure soon, hopefully tomorrow. Anyway the result of this will be that assaults have more HP potential than logis. This is achieved without 'nerfing' the logis out there.

In general, the defensive capabilities of the Logi need to be similar to that of an Assault, otherwise they quickly become easy targets for stray bullets to take out. Assault needs a bit more defense as it is a direct combat role, but the Logi still needs to be able to keep up, because a dead logi is a useless Logi. |

Everyone can be slayer. Logi/assault/scout/heavy.
Logis now are in good spot. Assaults needs new bonuses. Logi have lower potential hp than assault as they will have same slots (H and L) layout.
Wait for delta and more informations.
