This is so fukin stupid. It should be based on kd. Per match This would be great for me as a logi because I love not being paid for doing my job.
Mathew LaBorde for CPM2. This man is a visionary.

This would be more like it but it already differs from OP's proposition (to the extent that that can be taken seriously, mind you) and isn't even too far off from the current system. The only important difference would be the lack of a playtime modifier and giving the act of killing a meaning beyond its WP worth (why not buff general slayer WP somehow instead?).
There is still the problem that not every job is designed to kill or to contribute to kills all the time. A scout scan uncovering a large threat so that the squad can successfully avoid it is a job well done that isn't rewarded right now and won't be under a more kd/WP focused system either.
Bethhy wrote:The person with 0/1 with 50 war points should not get given the same ISK as the Logi that is 0/1 with 3500 war points. And he never will unless the Logi joins the game in the literal last minute. WP and time in match are the most important factors to relative ISK allocation from the common pool.
Bethhy wrote:And players running MLT suits that are 0/11 Should not get rewarded the Same SP as someone who invested into an ADV suit and performed 11/11 in the match. Which won't happen either unless the 0/11 dude earns the same WP as the 11/11 guy (which means he's probably a support player and did a decent job, safe for dying a bunch) or the latter joined the game more than two minutes+ late.
Also, I don't think suit tiers should play any role in SP or ISK gains beyond their better performance allowing capable players to score a higher board position, thus earning a bigger cut from the pool. Using ADV/PRO is your decision based on tactical and/or financial considerations, not something the game has to artificially reward you for.
Bethhy wrote:Rewarding the players who actually play the game and rewarding the players who make a contribution makes a MASSIVE difference in the actual momentary POINT of playing that match... It creates purpose.. Motivation and a drive to do better. I agree and, had we PVE in place, I would move to remove the playtime modifier from ISK allocation so that ISK gain would be 100% dependant on WP and a share of every killed suits' total worth to account for slayers having a harder time stacking high WP numbers (or simply adjust WP gains between the classes where they diverge).
As it stands though, a system like that would mean that bad and fresh players would earn next to nothing (or literally nothing) all the time. Just look at the bottom half of the leader board per team of your average pub match. Such a reward system would totally break their gameplay without a separate way to earn ISK/SP in place because they couldn't even reliably afford a proper STD fit.

Unless I'm doing serious AV work, or some how get 45+ kills I will not go over the 350k mark. Hell sometimes even getting 45+ kills doesn't even get me past that.(Went 47 kills and like 10-15 deaths game gives me 310k) Logis I'm not too sure, I would sometimes logi in games getting 2-3k wp and still getting less than 300k, and sometimes I'll get the same amount of wp or similar and get over 400k. ISK rewards are dependant on total ISK destruction on both teams, your time in played in match (relative to the total length), and your relative WP compared to others.
Joining late will kill your ISK gains (which is why scotty is a **** and should stop throwing us into half finished fights if at all possible). Having many PRO fits or expensive vehicles die on the field will significantly boost them.
