If you don't want to lose your aiming skills on Dust...
**** me! Three days on the Destiny beta and my aim has degenerated to blueberry levels! The aim assist, man, the aim assist on that game is just the biggest destroyer of muscle memory I have ever experienced short of being away from the PS3 for a straight month!
Just kill me... ;~;

Just kill me... ;~; Although I agree that Aim Assist on Destiny is somewhat too strong ( I think they both use reticule magnetism and bullet magnetism), any other game would kill your muscle memory: Dust has some really sluggish and slow aiming mechanics compared to any other game.
Max out that sensitivity and it's no longer slow and sluggish~! And I don't know how the aim assist works in Destiny, aside from perhaps being made by the same guys who made Guerrilla Glue!

-_-
When the AA got buffed back in... what was it... 1.4? 1.3? I'd say it was actually pretty darn close, though it was still smoother than Destiny's, which kinda just yanks your crosshairs to whatever runs across the screen.

moving the crosshairs horizontally felt so slow, and strafing while manually aiming felt clunky. T-T Is this how Call of Duty also feels like? If yes, then I never want to play CoD.
Only played CoD once, so I can't answer that, but I think the analogy of CoD and Halo having a baby is a bit off. It's more like Borderlands and Halo's lovechild than CoD's. Maybe Bungie dated em for awhile, but CoD was the guy who showed up on Jerry Springer, only to get told he wasn't the father.
Try jacking that sensitivity up a few notches.

Quote: Seriously, I've had 100/100 since closed beta and it's still the slowest turn speed on any fps. The controller "feels" bad here on Dust: it's not precise nor responsive. Battlefield controller feeling is somehow the best feeling I've ever had
Eh, good point. Hopped on BF3 a few days ago and realized how sluggish it is compared to that game, but eh, I'll take sluggish over insane AA any day of the week!

Should have expected one of these. There's always one. And for about two or three games, yes. Some of us aren't used to playing with aim assist on games and thus don't do too well when swapping between games where there's no option to turn it off.

Eh, I might agree, but games like Battlefield don't do to me what Destiny did to me, and it's much smoother than Dust. It really does have way too much AA, though I'm not sure whether Bungie did that because of how fast the gameplay can be, or because they, like the vast majority, just don't believe that console gamers can live without AA.
