Umm, no. You need some precision enhancers in the highs. And some damps in the lows. This is a shotgun fit after all. If you want to HP tank, you should be looking to build an assault scout.

Such a build is already possible to run. If it worked well, we'd have seen it by now. Here's why it doesn't happen now, and likely won't happen later:
1. Breach Shotgun * - A very bad idea.
2. Allotek Breach Shotgun - A very expensive, very bad idea (47k Isk!).
3. Mobility - Need to keep the baddies within 5m; need to move faster than baddies.
* These were great in Chrome but are now among the worst weapons in the game (in my book). Hit detection got wonky, range got reduced by half, RoF got worse, and everyone's HP doubled. A fun weapon if you're OK with being frustrated, but when it counts use a Fine Rifle.

I've had my eye on the Amarr scout since the nerf to Cal scout was announced, as I typically play the scanner for my squad.
However, I hadn't though it would lend itself to 1000+ HP tanking, but my eyes are now open! |

I mean in the hands of someone really good The breach shotty can be Good I mean 2 shots it can't even 2 shot a heavy unless both shots were head shots.Even then you might have just barely gotten the kill.... All in all this was a funny post to me. But that 800 armor... and 200 shields.... If the gallente had better skill bonus people would be using that suit since it would be faster. I think the only difference is the gallente would be down by... 30 ehp? |

If you don't pack on around 180-200 shield then armor weapons will take out the 800 health before your slow scout butt could move.
Hybrid tanks to negate the dmg bonus from both shield and armor tanks will yield better results then just raw armor health.
Damage modifiers today only work good when you have a heavy Shield or armor based dmg weapon. The main concept is to apply that damage bonus to the weak damage profile of the gun.. Allowing a SCR user to still have some decent armor Damage.
Or an HMG user to still have shield killing potential. |

The Amarr Scout seems to be a bit better though with the proto sidearm and higher HP (though I personally hate the lack of reps)

I'd also like to point out something else - you don't need this suit to rock. As a matter of fact, I outperform this proto stomping with an advanced scout using good tactics. Played 3 matches tonight:
32-3, 1990 wp
21-4, 1755 wp
27-6, 1560 wp
It's not not always about the gear.

Well, for one thing, the weapons you're using aren't quite strong enough. You messed up by not using the BREACH flay lock, with its amazing damage and power and range (which, Btw is why its the FoTM). Also, breach shotgun? I know you like a challenge, but if you wanted to really use something that can kill people, try the plasma cannon, or sniper rifle if you're really into CQC.
