I feel that Tutorials explaining the different races..different gear..different suit types ehp types..The different types of equipment..
Range profiles of guns
Would greatly increase the enjoyment of the game as a high sp rolling vet the worst part of dust is how completely clueless blue dots can be
They make 100% useless fits that are purely a waste of isk for example madrugars with shield hardeners.if the blue dots had better tutorials they would have better understanding and I would have a better fight.
I know these are simple concepts to an rpg player..but not for the average call of duty scrubberry

I STRONGLY agree. I see noobs with swarms trying to kill me, while were on foot, and it annoys me. CCP just basically tells them, here u go play against everyone. They need more time in the academy! |

Longer time in academy and better tutorials explaining some of the unusual aspects of dust not found in most fps, s

They could definitely explain many of the simple points, but say for suits this is a point of issue. Although, this will clear up their overall intention, what racial suits and suit types can do changes with every update/hotfix. All they can do is make a mission statement essentially in what they intended for the suits. The meta will always follow optimum efficiency between buff/nerf cycles.
In this case, however, you could consider the often laughable descriptions to be the tutorial explanation. It just doesn't work. Rattatai did say they are working on a matchmaking system based on your stats as a fps player in the game, so here's to hoping newberries will get paired with newberries making any battle academy improvements unnecessary. |
