The critical part of STV is to vote for your no.1 dude with your no.1 vote as this is the first seat considered. all other votes are then aggregated across the voter spread in subsequent calculations.
Judge getting almost 300 votes in the first pass got him in the door first above all others who needed the following recalculation of votes to secure their seats.
I knew youtube was powerful but didn't expect it to be a run away success like this. GG judge and everyone.

My first vote went to Tesfa, my second to Judge however across all my alts IWS was there somewhere.
Judge basically won because of his youtube presence and IWS got in because more than likely everyone knew of him so he was always there...
An interesting system but what's wrong with everyone just having a single vote? I mean is there a specific reason to use this convoluted system?

So my 2nd vote was for cross. Because you can still have an influence if you're 1st vote didn't win. You can still have an impact on the election.

I'm talking longer term than just Dust 514, pumpkin. Legion is on the distant horizon and someone needs to champion PvE while the game is still in prototype stages; CPM1 has the ability to shape our day 0 experience with PvE Legion.

When it comes to STV cross promotion is critical as is getting ranked as high up in someone's list as possible. That's why you can have someone with fewer #1 votes actually end up with more total votes after all of the rounds.

Aw man thanks alot. Too bad i didn't get in but i was surprised on how I fared vs many other "stronger" candidates.
For my picks well only Judge got in, too bad about moss, argetlam and appia.They (me included of course) would've been my dream team, impressed me as really cool, relaxed and still passionate about DUST. Never got dragged into the mud slinging of some candidates, or the " i'm so important because reasons'' boasting of others. That said looking at all of the rounds of voting it was superclose. Maybe i shouldn't have thrown my vot appia's way, woul've got me another round closer...i kid , i kid
On the new council as a whole well, lets just say i'm relieved The Judge dominated because there are a few voices in there who campaigns rubbed me the wrong way. He's the only one that I know for sure that will be completely objective and professional. Anywho Congratulations to the new council in its entirety. I look forwards to QQing about you lot till dust shuts down.  Cheers.
