Dude, I can't tell you how [redacted] off I was when I heard they were seriously considering removing vehicles from Ambush (and now Ambush OMS).

My opinion on that has not, and likely will never, change. I don't see a reason why a player should be exempt from certain game-modes because of their playstyle choice, especially when we went through so much trouble to allow them even footing (SP investment) with infantry. I understand that players wanted a game mode free of vehicles but to me it comes off as either acknowledging that vehicles were over-powered and taking the easy route or simply ignoring the fact that this is New Eden, where the battle isn't always going to be in your favor.

But yanno, what's done is done and the majority of the community vouched for those changes... So, what can I say...

Yeah, I don't believe in limiting equipment like that but hopefully in Legion they'll be able to code something like "max nanohives dropped" and be able to track total nanohives dropped by a player rather than just per type of nanohive. Obviously the limit of the nanohive would still be in effect (once you drop the 3rd triage hive the first disappears) Even a limit of 10 would be plenty. If you use all 4 slots for nanohives you would get 2 for each proto hive and then 3 for the guaged. That's only 9 legit, but if you did happen to switch to another fitting at least you would have some buffer before your nanohives just start disappearing. Although I'd love to see equipment destruction increased from 5 to 10 at least to encourage players to actually take the time to take out uplinks and such. I mean as it is now you only get 100 wp for clearing out a room of 20 equipment...for how hard that can be sometimes and for how important it is to do, the rewards are way too little. 7162 wp with a Repair Tool! Pretty sure you were my number 3 spot. I felt that out of all the candidates (aside from Cross), no one running had made as many well written feedback posts on the forums here AND was a regular player in the game. A lot of candidates were great choices, but you stand out because of your presence here and in-game. While I wanted to mainly vote for the people I felt would do the best job (and not just the ones well known), you seem the most passionate and dedicated to the game. 7162 wp with a Repair Tool! While I do agree with this, unless they make tanks and dropships as easy to kill as dropsuits, as in 1-2 shots from AV (the pilot QQ would be earth shattering), this really cannot happen without ruining the game. The True Inferno Myrmidon Syndicate 45	Posted - 2014.07.25 12:03:00 - [17] - Quote Just on the Amarr sidearm removel topic(yes the one that was summed up quite a while ago) I would just add multiple suit variants(like back in chromosome) so each of some of each racial logi would get one or two special variant suits apart from the basic logi setup, so for example, amarr would get a sidearm for losing an equipment for its variant, perhaps caldari would lose its equipment slot and gain a extra module slot, and maybe for minmatar they would lose their light weapons slot(swapped for a sidearm) for more CPU and pg/speed and a extra equipment slot. This would add a bit more to the game from its standard tiers. ScP = GÖÑ Recent fat scout (sentinel w/shotty and cin-cats)

I honestly think MLT tanks did this for Vehicles, every other type of vehicle is easy to kill at MLT and really isnt much of a threat with AV on the field, MLT tanks/mods/turrets were supremely overpowered as to what they offered VS what they required. When my vehicle alt had no infantry skills I spent Ambushes after the limit was introduced running around in circles because 2 bum MLT tanks got dropped off and they most likely would survive the whole match...it was mind blowing. Observe the public trust. Protect the innocent. Uphold the law.
