At the same time many of the candidates have spent a lot of time working together, discussing things, sharing thoughts in threads, and generally getting to know each other both in and out of game. That being said, Candidates probably have the most informed view when it comes to the other candidates. That being said, it is not unreasonable that as a candidate, one releases a list of who they think would be best suited for the job. It's their way of saying "Based off of everything that I know, these are the people who I think are best suited for the job." In fact I know many of us *agonized* over picking 7 people because there were just so many good choices and being restricted to 7.
The fact of the matter is that most of the candidates are very professional and don't get hung up one something like an endorsement. If someone doesn't endorse me but we both make it in, I'm enough of an adult to not be butthurt about it because an endorsement is simply a matter of opinion and everyone is entitled to have their own. Their opinion of my abilities has nothing to do with my actual abilities, nor my willingness to work with them on a professional level. If anything, I respect others with ideas that differ from mine even more, because that's what leads to good discussion.
So to come out and say that me expressing a rather well informed opinion is 'alienating' other candidates is completely off base. The fact of the matter is that I picked my top 7 and told people why. If my number 8-14 make it in, I'm still happy because there are a ton of very talented people out there who will do a great job regardless.
If someone honestly feels alienated because they didn't make someone's Top 7, then they probably shouldn't be running in the first place. This is CPM, not MySpace.

That's all I have to say on it and wanted it out before the announcement. Good luck to all
No, the CPM is chosen by the voters. Who endorses who has zero bearing on who people actually choose to vote for. No one is forced to listen to my opinion, no one is forced to follow my choices. So no, the CPM wasn't chosen behind to the scenes because the candidates are not the only ones voting. Or are you implying that voters don't have a mind of their own?
