Looking closer and I'm fine with the new numbers, it is still better then the old Sent values, and I can finally put to use my HMG Optimization skill again.
The old Amarr Proto Sent once you fit four complex plates, a complex d-mod, and a boundless HMG, only had around four-six PG left for sidearms and grenades even with HMG Opt skill and maxed core skills giving +30% to CPU and PG.
These new values are fine imo.
Maybe these values will chase off some of the FOTM users who were lazy and lacked proper core skills. Though I'll miss mowing down "fake" heavies.

Seriously people, I've used heavies since, well, two weeks after they ever existed. These new PG/CPU values are better then they have ever been besides the current iteration which is a bit nuts. The instant they changed them to what we have now after 1.7 I knew someone was going to get nerfed, the current values are just too high.
HFC won't "break" heavies, it will put them properly in line with the rest of the suits.
Currently heavies don't have to think to fit crap on a suit, and what you can fit on a basic frame is ridiculous.
But hey, that's just, like, my opinion... man.

It's back to the normal old levels, maybe a smidge higher. With maxed core we're talking about 69 PG, and if you're a relic with some points in HMG Optz then you'll likely only have to downgrade your sidearm and nades which are pretty minor, all things considered.

If youre not a relic, heavy weapon opt . is a x6 skill which means 1,865,520 SP for lvl 5 in exchange for ~4 PG that only a single weapon benefits not the suit . Quite a steep SP sink for a single weapon.
On the other hand, if you're not a relic, you can get that extra PG for level 4 (Level 5 is kinda pointless) for one of the only two heavy weapons in the game. It's not like light weapons where people can diversify, people who are actually bothering to go proto in Heavies will use the HMG more then enough to consider level 2 or 4 Opt skill worthwhile, an easy 900ksp if it means perfecting a fit to the max.
Anyone who doesn't want to invest the 900Ksp to get it to level 4 won't be using a full proto sentinel anyways. It's like some scout users complaining about investing in the three Electronic Sensor skills to be effective, it's part of the role. Think of it as part of the trade-off for you not having to worry about high Equipment skills due to missing the whole slot to begin with.
