I'm sorry, but I'm not buying the vegetarian thing. We evolved as Omnivores, messing with nature is kind of what got us into this mess.
I welcome you to try convince me, but right now I don't see it.

But surely locally sourcing the meat I eat, like say from the local butcher, fisher, hunter etc would work to cut out the toxic meat industry you speak of.

That's why herbivores eat an absolute fk ton because there's not much storable energy in what they eat. Its kind of sucks either way lol.

Honestly, I'm starting to believe the times are changing. Seems to me more and more people are taking their own steps to cut ties to big industry.
On vegetarianism, I'm afraid I can't help you there.
