Also don't forget that as you level and gain in game experience, your movement perks improve. I don't know about the other classes but Warlock gets a jump jet type thing. The second perk gives you better control in the air, and the third gives you more initial thrust when you take off. The last perk replaces your jump jet with a short range teleport.
