Why do Amarr starter suits have two highs and zero lows? Shouldn't it be the other way around?

Probably the same reason te STD suit had two highs and one low, rather than the reverse.

Wrong. Amarr isn't and never should have been hybrid. They are about having the most amount of low slots to have the best armor tank (in general)

I don't use them, but I was just wondering. I just find them highly unusable and unattractive that they have 300 armor (at max armor skill) but you can't do anything with the fitting to make it regenerative and/or to stack on more.
