Well nobody forces you to use proto equipment in PC matches. If you want to make ISK and are greedy you know what to do. And in my opinion its not about ISK its all about having decent fights and not the instant redline crap you get from pub matches against clueless twatts. |

It did allow for player created content like the Open Beta Tournament.

PC was always garbage and never anything I was every interested in....but admittedly I could have hopped the FA or OH bandwagons..... to be honest I'm far more happy working in FW with my alliance and the Militia's than I ever was in PC.

As a generalization sure, and we all told CCP the simple, no effort way to fix that back then. But when decently used it was a fantastic tool...we had a great series of scrims with Imps/IE when next to no one would take your fights and we had a long standing scrim friendship with TSOL, playing 2 matches a night every Fri. and Sat...plus Slosh Ops *swoon*
It would not have taken much thought on CCP's part to make PC an attractor that stood apart from CB's instead of just nuking the CB code, but you know...lolCCP.

Yep and by the time some changes were finally implemented to improve PC it was too late. A huge chunk of the core competitive community gave up on the game.

Kane the CPM (birthed sometime in the 1st quarter of 2014) , not so much. I take that with a grain of salt, because dust was poopin steep and lolwhynot.

I would argue that his impact was felt more when providing feedback for the initial mechanics of PC and the steadfast laser focused approach of CCP to keep PC an option for only the elite of the elite.

Guys, to be fair, it was always going to be a job for the management...
It's just that it's a job for everyone else as well, and we weren't given the proper tools to fix that.
