Try saying that to the hundreds of thousands of players who are really good at fps but didn't have the HP, DPS, isk or all the three to be effective and simply quit after getting bashed repeatedly.
This thread is a subtle e peen stroke at best.

I'm CBA to repeat myself so there you go.
If gear didn't matter then why even have tiers and why is it must for PC?.
There are loads of players who rely on their gear to carry them that are considered pro in dust that would get annihilated in other fps games.

But in the year i've been playing Dust, I've never seen someone in proto that sucks at using it. lolsrsly? When I used to play I saw scrubs new players in proto that got wrecked.
You just shot yourself in the foot, can you spot it?.
I thought you saw this all the time......bro?.

Yes I do.
The problem is that you don't seem to be aware of how much crap you are blatantly spewing.

And what game was that?.
You are now talking in past tense but started in present tense.
Stop lying, I'm not conversing with you anymore.
Are you even old enough to be playing dust?.
Lol.

How is the possible though with such varying degrees.
Say a newb gets lucky and goes roughly 60/9 in his academy, then what? Lol.
Say I'm training a squad of random nubs, the k/d averages at 1.50, I get some good farming time then?.
No troll mate seriously, if there's a way that this would work then let me know.
There are also those who would pay buddies to create ALTs to be able to farm newbs forever technically and that will happen, the games been abused as much as possible at every turn.

The place where you start.
Its supposed to help newbs but its riddled with fail players who need to farm it to make up for the fact that they can't even do well in a game with aim assist.

I'll stop bringing my protogear when everyone else stops, but the problem is no one is going to be the first, and you sure as hell won't see a bunch of people do it at once, so it keeps going on.
I use it to remain competitive with other protostompers. Yes, I am damned good, I remain in the top four to five spots of the leaderboard if I put on my try-hard pants with basic gear... But that's not good enough if I'm facing a proto-stomping squad, it just won't cut it, especially if I'm playing FW and half of my Amarr/Caldari team gives up in the first four minutes if things go south.
So I put it on, all of my protogear.
Deal with it.
This "Good Players don't need the gear" argument doesn't hold up, for if another good player puts it on then it's a downhill battle and you need it to compete. Yes, I could bust my butt to kill a protobear vet with lesser gear, but when I can put us on an even playing field by fielding my own, I'd have to be an idiot not to.
Every superpower has the nukes, and no one is going to be the first to give them up out of "good faith."
Blame matchmaking.
Proto gear isn't the problem, its the cost which makes it privy for about 10% of the game to spam regardless of cost.

That's my thread on the issue and it should make for a good read whether you agree or not.
In the time iv played dust, iv seen the cycle repeated time and again.......
Today's stompees are tomorrows stompers.

Why?, you might ask.
Because I'm a nice guy, that's why.
On a serious note, I have a buddy x7 lion who needs it for that exact reason. He's a gal knifer.

LOL - dubble LOL With even more LOL on top... I've seen many players come in late in Dust and wrecked havoc as inexperienced low level players, BeSerious is one example, Dark_Ir is another, there are more I'm sure. Many of us vets can easily start a New caracter and get pretty decent results, not in PC naturally but definately in Pubgames....
Yeah same as but the majority can't, they literally will not put up with all the bs to even get good.
We came in when dust had promise, we know people and we have connections. The average blue who just downloaded some random f2p game might go a week without really knowing anything provided they even stay that long.
