So I want to ask the playerbase how they feel about CPM and the candidates putting themselves forward. Personally I think CCP should either scrap it until solid Legion progress is made or they should do the selecting themselves. Our playerbase is full of Ego fuelled mercs who have consistently shown that they are out for themselves, is that what we want to A- Cast the votes, B- Be the candidates. IMHO there is one active player who plays for the good of others and enjoyment of the New Eden universe, that being - Fox Gaden the CEO of Immortal Guides, I do not intend voting for players who have spent over a year crushing the playerbase. (posted via PS3) Just my 0.02 ISK and I wonder how others feel about CPM.. |

Define good ??... I see the work players have put in and your right there has been a lot of decent player input. But have they been consistent? I do not think so.. at least not all , I use Fox Gaden as an example of a 'good' person helping guide players in the right direction and being an asset to the playerbase. Of course he is not the only one, hence opening this thread to find out what the playerbase thinks of CPM candidates. Tech rather than contesting my post, try add input to this |

Chribba, GTorq, Haerr, rucdoc (and tonnes more): 3rd party services, websites, calculation data, google docs, the list goes on
CPM0, having the longest term out of the councils, beating the CSM record by 4 months i think? maybe more now
Bamm, judge, moody, gimble + hundreds more for their video content over the past 2 years
I can keep going with this, there are hundreds if not thousands of players that consistently go out of their way to help the game and its players
I don't see how having CPM1 being elected by the players is a bad thing, a fairly common complaint about CPM0 was that they were elected by CCP and not by the players. The CSM is in it's 9th term now, i believe 6 of these terms were player elected and the council go from stride to stride between each term.
^^ Now thats the response I am looking for. thank you
In regards D-UNI they are a great bunch, being EU I see less of them but I know they contribute to helping new players.
In-game support (Learning Coalition/Dust-Uni) is a much more valid reason for being a CPM candidate.. Youtubing should not be taken into account... Kane Spero most likely used his 'youtubing' when he stepped up And look how well that ended...
Making videos adds to the popularity yes, but it does not essentially mean they have been 'good' to the playerbase
Thanks for your input, |
