I do want to make one of these work and to produce a full plot from one. Additionally you could also consider that this is between two Empire Factions or their subsidiaries.... and therefore certain individuals could be opposing the main party (Namely my Amarrian self) Name: Kador Ouryon Callsign: True Adamance Gender: Male Race: Udorian (True Amarr) Appearance: 6' 2" in terms of natural and unassisted height. Role: Suppressive Fire Power Personality: Kador is a serious and dutiful individual with a great compassion for his fellow man, more over he displays a great deal of sympathy and care for mortals free of the burdens of immortality. He however is quick to anger when his religion is called into question, either in the sense that his Faith is doubted, or the very nature and existence of his God. This being a result of the Classiarii's doctrine of harnessing strong emotions to fuel battlefield efficiencies. Since most of this will be considered non canon I believe it is safe to use that if you so chose......however if you want this to be considered Dust 514 canon then I suppose we'd need permission for the top. Otherwise one of the reason I suggested, and I'm assuming Jester was thinking it too, the opposing story lines is so that we can have this kind of conflicting story lines. Additionally I am a primary HAV operator...... I would love to use it in the story but that separates me far too much from the main infantry centric plotlines. Unless the story ends or begins with Team True transporting our fair doctor then I will not be using a vehicle at all for the duration of the plot for the sake of continuity. I think at the moment the division is right down the middle, correct me if i'm wrong. I will not allow a character to do something as ridiculous as you suggested. Characters can only act upon information that is available to them. Anything discussed in the OOC or on the other side of the IC is not available knowledge to players on the other side. Good to know True because I'm pretty sure that plenty of dramatic explosiony deaths will be had. When you fight the Minmatar you have to be prepared to end up a shrapnel ridden corpse. Unbeknownst to the defenders enemy forces are already on the move and are approaching the outposts at a rapid pace. Assigned to guard the assets three soldiers stand watch against the aggression of the insurrectionists and prevent regional security personnel from interfering. Also since this Doctor is your character can we get some personality traits about her or would you like to or like me to create an actor character for her? It's difficult at the best of times to create and channel another persons character and do them justice (this being the reason I will never tolerate another player using True Adamance in their lore without my express permission and editorial work... I just don't believe others can capture who or what my character is))...... I think it would be better if the Doctor remains consistently RPed throughout the narrative. So we're already engaged in combat with rebels on the surface? We may have during the week but assume the fire power we have has been enough to see off the insurrectionists with few casualties. Or you could assume the notion of 9 foot tall mostrous soldier able to cave in a soldiers chest with the palm of their hand has scared the senseless and are too worried to approach......doesnt mean they wont have shelled us though. " It was probably one of the hardest hurdles for me to get past. You have to remember that everyone else in this RP is also a highly trained mercenary who is equal to or more skilled that you, and treat their RP and actions as such. Once you do your characters actions become more meaningful as they also become more difficult and impressive. E.G- I certainly don't want to get in a fist fight with Galm, lore wise True is a sub par hand to hand fighter, and Galm is a hardcore thug and a half. However additionally being a Commando means I could punch a hole in a clones chest no matter my skill level if I could land a hit.....but I also know Galm is a Commando as well. It's just a suggestion that I thought would help you perhaps find you mesh in point. I have done quite a bit of RPing throughout a number of forms and it becomes very difficult to RP consistently with individuals who make their characters without flaw. For example I used to RP on Dark Souls with a group of players. We had one player who suggested, and quite logically given the setting that he could choose to exist in different times using a Soap Stone, it got beyond difficult to interact with him when he started existing far into the future, used it to evade any misfortune, and used overly cliched lines. I certainly know that about 8 months ago I tried to shape Kador from that kind of character into a more human one. All I am suggesting is that you attempt to find a moderate balance between your chosen style and impression of your own character and what is fitting and realistic within the given setting. A cloned mercenary, this being anyone's cloned mercenary, even mine, is just a soldier, and when fighting other cloned mercenaries any talent he might have over X other persons are somewhat mitigated. Also the advice that True is giving is spot on. It is far more interesting and fun to rp a character with flaws. Also remember that a character can only act on the information that they have available to them. True's example is a fantastic example of a person god modding to avoid anything negative from befalling their character. Ugh and that character was insufferable. I mean in Bloodhunt I think True killed maybe 8 people tops and got a knife in the guts and was lit on fire....... costing him two clones. I had more deaths planned before enthusiam fizzled out.
