Name: Jonathan Alexander Steele*
Callsign: Hawkeye Occultus Gender: Male
Race: Ethnic Gallente
Appearance: ~1.8 metres tall (slightly less than 5.905... ft for you imperial users), dark brown/black hair, fair complexion. ((really need to get a mugshot))
Dropsuit Appearance: Modified Sentential frame sporting augmented armour plating, using the Amarrian gold palette for the plates and trim, and deep crimson for the fabric. The eyes glow green rather than the standard yellow or red. Several phrases are carefully inscribed into the armour plates in Amarrian, but Hawkeye doesn't actually know what they mean. Role: Heavy anti-infantry unit (can also fly, to a limited degree).
RETRIEVING FITTINGS. PLEASE STAND BY.
Other: Relaxed attitude, can act in a foolhardy manner, has a secret addiction to synthetic coffee. Relatively stable psyche. Relatively...
* (rarely used; considering I only recently thought up an actual name. Because disorganized character creation. Yay!)

The nature of their research revolves around weapons and biotech. They are currently stationed on a terraformed planet in low-sec space conducting live tests on a small uprising taking place on the planet. Recent chatter has indicated that another corporation may be attempting to acquire the scientist due to their current remote location. Carthum it is. True Adamance report to planet X for security duties!
Unsure weather or not to support Carthum on Planet X...
On the one hand, they do make some pretty nice things (which I even use!)...
But on the other hand, the other party may have better things (if only I knew who they were!)...
But what if they are evil...
Or worse...
Ironic Pacifists...
Not sure if fighting against True is a good or a bad thing...
On the one hand...

True Adamance wrote:Additionally if any of this plotline involving the Carthum agent is station in Amarr FW low sec it is entirely possible lore wise that the back drop battle you mentioned would be Classiarii Kamiera's drafted from the Kamiera programme we ran a few months back on their peace keeping efforts against insurrectionist forces.
Since most of this will be considered non canon I believe it is safe to use that if you so chose......however if you want this to be considered Dust 514 canon then I suppose we'd need permission for the top.
Otherwise one of the reason I suggested, and I'm assuming Jester was thinking it too, the opposing story lines is so that we can have this kind of conflicting story lines.
Additionally I am a primary HAV operator...... I would love to use it in the story but that separates me far too much from the main infantry centric plotlines. Unless the story ends or begins with Team True transporting our fair doctor then I will not be using a vehicle at all for the duration of the plot for the sake of continuity.
Well, considering your training in the use of mechanized transportation, plus your secret testing of MAV designs, I would say a good compromise, as you say; would be transporting the V.I.P. in an APC. You are a very trustworthy individual to undertake this duty, with both your qualifications and obvious devotion to all things Amarr.

I'm starting to suspect that we might have to collectively commit to only the security team for the sake of fairness and our own sanity. I don't want to have Galm's air assault get ripped to pieces before I even have time to post.
Well, if I commit to the assault force, than it is equalized to 2 Vs. 2...

Well, I think you should hawk-eye. It would allow the Captain to get a little payback for getting shot, beaten, assaulted, and poisoned
And having his drink stolen, shot again, attempting to commit suicide, but failing due to nanite injection; and various other abuses that were not mentioned...
Or perhaps I could add to that list...
Very tempting...

I had him gutted last fight, then burnt alive, then was lining him up for having his spine shattered....... You can tell I'm not a nice dude to Kador and that I'll drop the pretext of his bravado for a good, gritty, grimdark plot.

True Adamance wrote:This...
"He screamed in agony as the foot long blade slid ever so easily into the flesh of his torso, passing through skin, muscle, and shattering against the lowest of his ribs. Fragments of metal splintered inside him penetrating his stomach and left kidney, as the tiny razor monofilament's that gave the Blooding Knife its name left a jagged wound along its path.
He couldn't breath.
The length of the blade was icy cold but his lower torso was afire with pain. He writhed in agony clutching vainly at the wound, blood streaming in hot rivulets across the rapidly repairing armour plates. Soon the armour would heal around the blade, and it would be too late to remove."
and......
"The flames were his world. They licked at his frame, setting the nerves of his torso ablaze with warmth. Not pain....just warmth.
Beyond that he was vaguely aware of movement, another burst of incomprehensible speech, something forcing him down against the rough ground. Kador struggled weakly, but to no avail. Instead he tore at the thin nanoweave fibres of his suit as if trying to rip the very flesh from his body to escape the flames."
Oh yeah, now I remember...
Evilgasm.

Perhaps change it to a panic room, a broom closet, or some offices, or something.
