Dunno most folks I been talking about feel its not going to beat its own hype which it has set the hype bar pretty high.

This is not the case as it was with Halo; a game that smashed it own hype into pieces.

I would also like to say it is rather unfair to compare a lamborghini to the john deer tractor.

Halo (the first one) did though back in those days; you had to consider the shiniest golden emblem of FPS on consoles was golden eye... which is not saying much considering the control(ers) where amongst the worst ever designed. Hell even Medal of Honor was terrible to control. Back then most folks doubted Halo's potential and had speculation about it. Halo was for most part something that was not hyped much at all. People still hated microsoft as it recently came fresh out of lawsuits about IE and office; apple was beginning to trend up and the PS2 was the console to have because PS1's popularity.
