As said above, it's generally great for making pilots **** themselves and also a brilliant finisher after standard AV has softened up a vehicle. It's like getting hit by a Charge Sniper and then having some nearby punk finish you off with an SMG. There are also people who prefer to hold a charge than use the Assault. Remember to use your jump to move around instead of walking. I've forgotten this many times and died becasue of it. It's very useful at the beginning of some matches, if you see the other side trying to muscle you off a point with vehicles. I have a fitting for just these situations, best used from up high -- a tower, whatever: Sentinel ck.0 4x Complex damage mods 1 repper Wiyrkomi Breach forge You have to use it from far off or from good cover, because 1) it's expensive, and 2) you have little eHP to handle snipers. But combined with Forge Prof 5, you can 2-3 shot some mil tanks, if you can get all the shots off. Like Bojo said, it's a weapon of terror, mostly -- when HAV and LAV drivers get hit with the first shot, it's an "oh ****, what the frak was that?!? I better bug out" kind of moment for them, and they end up retreating to the redline or recalling somewhere. It's a good tool to help firmly establish to the enemy straight away that they aren't gonna win by simply spamming vehicles at you, or that at least it's gonna be real expensive for them if they do. You need proper support for tower forging -- a logi with repping hives, regular hives, and a few uplinks. The logi basically needs to set you up a base camp of sorts, so he can take off if he wants and you can be somewhat self-sustained.
