I don't know about you, but I have never found another FPS that offers the same intensity level or emotional impact as the battles of Dust 514.
I was thinking that since we have so many demands and requests, perhaps we could organize ourselves into focus groups and deliver meaningful communication to our CPMs, so that they don't have to sort through all of the nonsense that is posted on the forums.
Just because CCP announced legion and virtually abandoned Dust 514, doesn't mean that it has to be dead. We can rekindle our relationship with CCP. We can drive new products that they could sell to us and we can essentially do the market research for them by delivering lists of the products we want and how much we would be willing to pay for them. If their business model failed for Dust 514, we could help them improve it. We are a community of many talented and brilliant thinkers. We don't always agree, but I'm certain that we could design a system of feedback where our diverse needs could be represented effectively and decided upon without excessive deliberation.
We need to request that our CPMs illuminate what is really happening and gain some transparency into how we could empower CCP to make money on Dust and the exact steps they can follow to improve the game to give us precisely the experience we are driving toward. We need to present this information clearly and to provide as much technical detail as we can.
Let's bring it back around and not give up on it. People effect change, so let's develop a more cordial and ambitious relationship with CCP and usher in a new era for Dust. Let's change how gaming communities work with companies and spearhead a more integrated approach, leveraging a tightly knit crowd sourced platform of volunteers. There are lot of people who care about how the game evolves and those are the exact people who would be determined enough to work through any snags preventing us from meeting our goals.
If we truly appreciate what we have, then we must let them know that it deserves another look and a new modus operandi.

Companies respond to incentives.
If we can show them why their business model failed for Dust, and show substantial evidence that they can make some real money on the game, then I see no reason why they would not pursue further development.
Simply because their idea failed, doesn't mean that the project has to end.
Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater.

I'm just a dude, and I don't snitch on nobody; no way, no how. I will keep your disgruntledness on the down low.
