I'm currently a proto Amarr sentinel with a proficiency 3 HMG. While I love tearing people apart with 1700+ eHP, I do agree with a nerf for the heavies. I can kill anyone if I manage to get close to them. The only people I can't kill for some reason are caldari scouts, even at a 5-10 meter distance. (WTH? There's something going on there...  ) While I DO support a nerf, don't overdo it. Look at the Flaylock Pistol. That thing was WAY overpowered. They nerfed it so hard that it's probably the least used sidearm now. A nerf is needed, but don't make it a ridiculous one. It should be just as effective as any other play style.

It is a giant chaingun, point taken. With that being said, they shouldn't have as much/more health than an LAV. It's a truck, for Christ's sake! I have found that the auto aim actually gives me problems against Cal scouts. I'm not sure if it was intended, but the Auto-Aim just pushes you off of them. Oh, and I got the proto Sentinel because I have other things on my suit. Its not JUST the HMG I'm supporting. I need slots, damage mods, Armor.

Heavys are OP and should be nerfed to the ground oh don't forget rail rifles, combat rifles, scout suits, group share scanning, tanks, ADS, mass drivers, red line sniping, sniper rifles, assault rifles, AV grenades, demolition grenades, forge guns, swarm launchers, prototype tank turrets, hmg, logi suits, scrambler rifles, smgs, scrambler pistols, the mcc, missile turrets, rail turrets, blaster turrets, the rep tool, nanohives, drop up links, your cat, my dog, lavs, jlavs, the login button, balance... and my most favorite of the all anything that kills me in the gaaaaaame....
So what you're saying is the heavy ISN'T OP? Chances are you're a heavy yourself.

I'm a heavy, too. Unlike most heavies, though, I don't want to have an unfair advantage over EVERYONE ELSE. I prefer a balanced game over a one-sided game.

I don't really think the CalScouts are OP, I just think there's something weird going on with the auto-aim. So to answer, your question - Both.

The 6% is great and all, but the extra 250 armor is more important to me, so I decided to grab it first.
