In every other FPS game tactical sniper rifles do less damage then any other sniper rifle but have higher rate of fire and a larger clip. This is one of the odd things in dust which i dont really get. In my opinion tactical sniper rifles should have a 7 round clip to make the higher rate of fire usefull on it. But lets talk aswell about the other sniper rifles:
The thale sniper rifle:
-this is by far the best sniper to use because of its extreme high damage and high lvl of magnification.
the standard sniper rifle:
it does a little bit more damage then the tactical but shots slower and has a bigger clip however the magnification is not good enough to get decent shots off on extreme distances
In my opinion all sniper rifles should have the same magnification regardless if it is officer, tactical or regular sniper rifle. Alot of times you have to aim on a very small dot int the distance and strafing enemys make this even harder. So my proposal in total would be:
-add the same magnification that the thale has to all sniper rifles, increase the clip size of the tactical sniper to 7 and maybe put like 50HP more damage on the regular sniper rifle to make it worthwhile using it over the tactical. |

Honestly, the charge sniper need a buff...there is no reason a non charging sniper(Thales) should have more damage than a charging sniper....

its unfinished racial parity. minmatar has a sniper rifle called the precision rifle. idk if we'll get it ever though... because Legion. |
