Introduction: The allure to EVE is that there are many planets and systems that you can go to, some of these places have been found and are controlled, while some are new and up for grabs. Legion needs to capitalize on this function, as it opens up a multitude of game types and maps, as your missions can vary from Space Stations, Capital Ships, Planets & Asteroid Colonies (Active or Runes). This allows for players to fight for control and at the same time for the best salvage ranging from materials to usable items and listing them as common to rare. All Items can then be sold on the joint EVE/LP market. Weapons of course can be broken down for scrap and sold to people in EVE who then can use the materials found or created through scrap to fill order contracts and make new items for sale. Salvage: All missions should within reason create salvage for a group to acquire, either passively for completion of a contract like Dust, through loot dropped by the enemy which you can go and pick up or by collection on designated salvage type missions. If in squad all loot is jointly pulled together and dispersed automatically at the end of game, so there is no arguments saying he got x while I got y. However while in squad and your squad mate is happy, you can swap items that you gained through the salvage from the previous mission among each other, so to better optimize your suits for the next mission you embark on or for future use depending on your current skills. Missions/Contracts: Like in EVE, missions are Player Based or AI created and Legion should be worked in the same format, so that there are always new missions which are always changing and being updated with the predicted difficulty level. As time goes on and you advance your skills, which allows you to advance to new and better Contracts and missions, which allows you to grow your arsenal and skills. Alternatively like in EvE you can join a squad and help the Squad Leader on their mission no matter what the difficulty is. Missions should effect loyalty just as much as factional missions in Dust. So that the faction you decided to join at the start actually creates a relationship with the federation youGÇÖre with creating better contracts, while making it harder to find contracts in opposing regions and increasing the difficulty level of those missions found, if you do accept to enter into their space and contract. The way missions should be displayed should be simple showing the difficulty of the contract the region it is in and the active player count on that mission. So when you enter the game you can go to a console click contracts, see whatGÇÖs out there and squad up and join a fight or at the same time go into your own fight and be a one man army until reinforcements arrive, kind of like the video created for dust called GÇ£Gathering forcesGÇ¥. Missions should work in three ways PvP, PvE or PvE & PvP, for example on salvage contracts you get AI defence of the area, either it being drones, defence systems or general AI soldiers preventing you from reaching your goal. In EvE when you mine you normally go in groups, people to protect while others mine, same should occur on this. You need to fight to get to your target and clear an area, however all members in the same Corp or squad have friendly fire off, while random people that join donGÇÖt, so you can get a dynamic three way fight going between the AI defence and other players, or alternatively you can work as one team to beat the enemy and enjoy the loot gained or turn on them right at the end just for the fun of it and gain all of their loot. Each team should have a set amount of clones or timer so that the mission does not go on for ever, but donGÇÖt worry if you fail you still can retry the mission as long as someone else does not snap it up.

Type of Missions/Contracts: Salvage Contracts: These specified type of missions can be created in one of three ways. Firstly By Your Self-Using Scan Skills which you can upgrade as time goes on, so that you can find better locations. The way this is done is simple, you open a map which shows the region you are in, similar to EvE where you send a probe out, you just simply pick a point of interest within the region you are stationed and start scanning until your console finds a location for you to visit. Once a location is found you have an option to open it as a contract for the public or a closed contract for yourself. Opening up the contract allows anyone to join the fight and you gain a % of Isk for the completion of that contract, a closed contract is for your own use and any members you wish to squad with. Second type of salvage contract, is created by Other Players Including Eve Players/Corporations & Alliances. This allows for contracts to span the universe as EvE players can move freely between systems and null space (increasing difficulty and rarity of items). They scan the same way as they do now by using their ships and sending probes out to locate places of interest, once these places have been found it works the same way as it does now, they can go to the area as they do in EvE and get there salvage, however they also can create contracts for ground troops to be able to visit the area for them to salvage items either it being in ruined ships, space stations, pirate stations etc. (Similar to video EVE FANFEST CINEMATIC TRAILER 2012). The only difference for this type of contract is they can lock the contract for the use of Corporation or Alliance members rather than just the general public. For the third type of contract this should be Factional Salvage Mission which is created passively by the federation you are in, which creates contracts based on your loyalty and will increase as your loyalty rises and decrease the standing with the opposing federation. These missions allow you and others of your kind to attack opposing federation planets, attacking there supply bases, space stations and facilities increase loyalty for your federation and weakening the opposing federations control in the system for advancement of the attacking federations. All at the same time creating perfect opportunities to salvage the best items, weapons, attachments & vehicleGÇÖs from the enemy stores, and can be PvP mission or PvP & PvE. PC Contracts: PC Contracts should work as it already does in Dust, as these fights are for planets owned by corporations and alliances and so should be protected by those in the alliances to show off their ground forces and their strengths so to send a message that they are not to be messed with. The only difference though that would be a warm welcome added feature, would be for ground troops to be able to conquer sections of planets or the whole planet, so that there Corporation or Alliance can add facilities. This needs to be a two way systems working in conjunction with online EvE Members. Planets found in EvE are generally in null section (I believe) so clone hubs may not exist in those areas for ground troops to reach the surface, so what I suggest is that the players of EvE can take advantage of the ever growing depths of EvE space and explore. Once they find a new planet, they can send out contracts for PL players of their Corp or Alliance to fulfil, which allows them to go to the surface and clear out whatever may be laying in wait for them. Alternatively this could be a trap, as mentioned you need an EvE playerGÇÖs presence in the region to innate the contract, and I assume alliances will want a presence in the region, while the sections of the planet are being cleared for building. If a rival alliance finds out that this sort of work is going on they could attack the ships in orbit and would be able to join contracts existing so that their troops can invade and oppose your efforts in taking the area. This also opens up mission types for an alternative contracts, which allows you to board the enemy capital ships, so that ground troops are able to help in the defence of the orbiting ships. A win for troops should create an adverse effect on the enemy ships ability to fight, even if this means they have no propulsion for 30 seconds or their weapons are temporally disabled. The way the match could be timed could be through clones or general countdown to reach your goal and disable something, but also how many remaining Allied ships or Enemy ships remain, which includes the ship you board. General Contacts: Created by the many AI CompanyGÇÖs already in the EvE world where you fight for control on a battle ground as you already see in Dust, but hopefully with a lot more maps and environments including space. Also more mission types would be a warm welcome, as who does not want the chance to board a cargo ship and set explosives or the good old capture the fort where you can bunker down with the comfort of mounted defence guns and walk ways, giving you the height advantage on the incoming enemy, however leaving your head a wee bit exposed for the lovely sniper head shot.
