I often fall from a height that is enough to kill me, yet as I fall, I do not have the option to use intertial dampeners.
I think that inertial dampeners should always be available when falling from any height. It's built into the suit. It should be at the discretion of the mercenary when he/she wishes to employ it.

I'd like to have it as an option all the time, but there could be a reason for this.
You have to fall fast enough and long enough for a parachute to work, maybe it's the same scenario. |

The needed speed for the inertia dampener seems fine most of the time but sometimes lag kicks in and some times it just seems to glitch out.
Laser focused in a room full of mirrors. Everything you ever wanted coming SoonGäó just keep buying boosters.

You know you don't have to wait for "press x" to activate the dampeners right? I just spam x and it activates the damps even on small heigts. |

Not OP, but personally I press X as soon as it pops up. Yeah I can survive a fall from the MCC (yay fat suits!) but I remember the glitch before Uprising came out where it would work half the time, some of the time. So pressing it straight away is a habit of mine since then.

The sooner you press X the easier it gets for me to see you and snipe you mid-air
