Does anyone else feel that the Gallente Commando kinda under performs compared to the other Commandos?

Commandos are slow and mushy so they can't be at the frontlines like Medium suits. But the other Commando racial weapons are great at ranges compared to the Blaster Rifle.

Not to mention 2 of those melt right through the Gallente Commando's armor away in no time.
Not to mention the Gallente Commando might as well be the second slowest Commando in the game with it needing armor plates to be rendered effective. While the Minmatar and Caldari can use their low slots to stack KinKats and be fast throughout the frontlines while finding that right high spot to rain fire.

Not to mention Caldari Commandos have the bonus to rails which means the Sniper is best fitted with them.

I just find that the Gallente Commando under performs compared to the other Commando's. Because in order for the Blaster Rifle to be effective, you need a 40 meter range. Which is the HMG range. Which HMG can also easily melt through anything.

Yes you can equip a TAC BR but not everyone likes it. And not everyone has the time and patience to place every shot in to the enemy.

Shout out to those who use dual wielding Plasma Cannons on the Gallente Commando's though. You guys are awesome!

I ran into Ceej playing a few days ago...needless to say, i experienced my first PLC death to a heavy suit. (iv had one before from arbiter in an amarr scout...talk about embarrassing)

I did kill him 3x in a row after that though with my SG

Complex Reps, GLU-5, GEK-38, Damage.

Best 'Mmando.

But not out DPS... oh wait...
