lol don't be a jerk... this isn't QQ I really believe from my experience that tossing RE's as far as they go is a bit extreme, but only when coupled with a scouts speed invisibility and jump height...

I very rarely QQ about anything unless its ccp doing some messed up crap....
but not mechanics. I have always been about balance and not nerfing things because "I don't like to be killed this way"
this is not an I don't like to be killed this way issue... this I feel is a there is no proper counter to this tactic issue.
cyrius, if you have any respect for the balance of this game (and yourself) you would engage my concern with your own extensive knowledge of the game, and maybe even test this for me (don't know how or have the tools to make vids) since you are a respected member of the community, instead of lowering yourself to insults and clich+¬....
and for the 10th time I will reiterate...
I love remotes, I use them every day and often, and I use the Frisbee technique ( though in a logi suit) with great success.
all I want is for the throwing distance to be hard capped at a meter, maybe 2 if you feel that's to harsh... |

personally I think reducing tossing distance is such a small adjustment that would have a huge positive impact...
most of us agree that mechanics in the game that reward skill are preferred to mechanics that are easy mode...
I'm just asking honestly, what category does my concern fit into?
is there any reason why anything in this game should empower 1 merc to take out a skilled squad by themselves?
before you answer I'm not saying a highly skilled player cant do this, but based on his/her skill, not an item in the game that provides this result for you with little effort from the user. in this case the scouts natural speed, low profile,and jumphieght coupled with the most powerful one shot in the game....
I compare this to tanks after 1.6 that were rewarding players of low skill to accomplish feats only a higher skilled player should be capable of. |

i don't think increasing the timer is necessary to achieve balance here... I think such a long timer would make them useless... reducing the Frisbee effect keeps them more viable as weapon than increasing timers but requires more skill to implement their use effectively |
